Provision of Planning Consultancy advice and project management of an application to obtain permission for an EV Charging Station and ancillary food and drink kiosk.

LPP secured permission for an EV Charging Station at the site, having regard to its sustainable location close to the A120 trunk road and proximity to the settlement of Great Dunmow. LPP successfully argued with the LPA that a sequential test relating to flood risk would not be needed due to the context of the site and updated legislation at the time of the application. The consent granted permission for 28no. EV charging car parking spaces, as well as a small food and drink kiosk to serve customers and associated hard and soft landscaping. The site is located next to an existing Travelodge Hotel and as such would benefit both residents of the hotel, local business users and staff, and commuters or holidaymakers travelling to and from the nearby Stansted Airport.
